Please read the following instructions carefully before proceeding:

In order to run Extender, you must have either the full version of Microsoft Access  2013 or 2016 [365] or later, or the Microsoft Access 2013 Runtime program installed on your computer.

If you already have one or more components of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.) installed, it is essential that you determine whether Office is a 32-bit or 64-bit version. See below for instructions on how to determine if Office is 32-bit or 64-bit.

If you have a 32-bit version of Microsoft Access 2013 (or later) installed

Click HERE to download this file: ExtenderNRT.exe (6.2 MB).

If you have a 32-bit version of Microsoft Office 2013 or later installed but Access is NOT installed

Click HERE to download this file: Extender.exe (223 MB).  Microsoft Access Runtime 2013 32-bit will be installed.

If you have a 64-bit version of Microsoft Access installed

Click HERE to download this file: ExtenderNRT_64.exe (12,9 MB).

If you have a 64-bit version of Microsoft Office 2013 or later installed but Access is NOT installed

Click HERE to download this file: Extender_64.exe (230MB)]  Microsoft Access Runtime 2013 64-bit will be installed.

Notes:

  • In order to determine the version of Office you have installed, open any of the Office components (we recommend Word) then click the File tab, then click Account. On the Account information page, click “About Word.” On the first line of the screen that appears you will be able to determine if Word is a 32-bit or 64-bit program.
  • Installation of these downloads will NOT affect your back end data file. Regardless, we strongly recommend that you make a back up copy of your data file (e.g. kennel.mdb)  before you install a new version.
  • All versions of the Extender installer un-install the previous version of Extender.
  • If you un-install Extender, it will NOT un-install the Microsoft Access Runtime program.
