Rocky Mountaineer 2023

On September 13 we flew to Calgary for a two night stay. On the 15th, we were taken to Banff for a two night stay at the Ptarmigan Inn. On Saturday the 16th we took a bus tour to visit the nearby lakes and waterfalls. The next day we were picked up at 7:30 am for the short ride to the train. The two days on the train were sublime: the scenery is spectacular and the food and service were magnificent. Overnight in Kamloops was mercifully brief. After our train trip, we stayed two nights at the Sutton Place hotel in Vancouver.
